Shelf Peg

Shelf Peg

A simple replacement pin to fit into holes used for shelves and similar purposes is needed. These pins appear to be standard in size, but variations may exist; you might need to adjust the dimensions accordingly. My grandmother requested that I create this pin for her glass display cabinet, and I thought it was worth sharing with others. Printing with supports was necessary for my Monoprice MakerSelect v2 (Wanhao i3) printer, but you may not require them. Four pins were printed in one hour at 20% infill, and they seem surprisingly strong. For increased strength, consider using higher infill settings if needed. You can also modify the part itself to increase the largest circle diameter if additional bracing against the side is required.
