Shelf mount for metal plug shelf
thingiverse
This construction is a simple and affordable way to expand your shelf's storage capacity. Why this approach? Additional shelves for this open cupboard/shelf (English often fails to distinguish between these two terms) can cost 25 Euros for two pieces, and the entire shelf itself was roughly the same price when I bought it. I thought that was quite pricey, so I looked for a more budget-friendly option. I purchased some wooden boards for 4.75 Euros each (luckily, they came in the correct size to fit snugly into the shelf frame), sanded them down, applied some bee wax, sanded again, and designed and printed these mounting parts (four for each wooden board). They have screw holes, but I haven't drilled any yet - they seem to rest safely and stably on the shelf.
