Shelf Lip for 2.5" planks
thingiverse
These are designed for 3-inch planks that fit snugly onto a pegboard shelf bracket from szczepanl's creation on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2156847. I am particularly fond of the simplicity of these shelves, which can be easily assembled with readily available materials. The pieces of wood can usually be found at most home improvement stores for about a dollar each - I got mine at Home Depot. However, despite my affection for my workbench, the shelf tends to wobble slightly when bumped, causing everything to fall off the shelf. To address this issue, I created these small lips that attach securely onto the shelf without requiring screws or glue. The 60mm pieces fit perfectly on the ends, while the three 141mm long pieces fill out the middle space exactly as needed. The two remaining pieces are designed for left and right installation to accommodate the depth of the lip on the ends. EDIT: A "tall" version of the shelf has been added to create boxes that can securely hold my Bob Smith Industries bottles, preventing them from escaping now due to their uniquely shaped design.
