Shelf Hangers For 3/4 Inch Wood
prusaprinters
I created this fairly simple design to hang up some cabinetry shelving in my closet. I specifically designed it to hold ¾ inch material, which is the most common thickness used in cabinetry and closet remodeling projects. There are holes on both sides' faces, so you can use the appropriate side (left and right side files are included) for your project. I would also recommend pre-drilling your holes before driving in the fasteners in order to prevent the wood from splitting and give it a nice fit with the corresponding pre-drilled hole. I used ASB to print this, but you could probably use PETG or ASA (I have not tested these) and they should work fine. You might even be able to get away with using PLA depending on the weight of what's going to be stored on the shelves, although I would prefer to stay on the safe side with using stronger filaments. You can print these files with no supports as long as they are in the right orientation. Adjust the rotation so the top piece that clamps over the wood material is on the bottom of the heated. I would also definitely recommend using 100% infill as it doesn't use much more filament and it actually could SAVE you time depending on your print settings. The 100% infill will make the model extremely rigid and should support the weight of the shelves with no problem. Please contact me if you have any questions!
