shelf feet/caps
thingiverse
I have a collection of industrial racks for servers and storage. They're a typical design: made from angle iron and particle board. Notably, some came with no feet, which would be suitable on concrete floors, but I have actual tile floors in my space. Others had only four feet, while some were equipped with eight feet, the remaining four acting as caps on top of the angle-iron uprights. These are small plastic feet or caps. As protective feet, they safeguard my floor from damage. As caps, they enhance the appearance of the racks and minimize the risk of injury to myself or valuable items when I'm working near the exposed tops of the angle iron posts.
