Shelf edge thingy

Shelf edge thingy

My girlfriend has a stash of paper rolls in her office, and she needed a solution to prevent them from rolling off the edge of her shelf bracket without boards. She was looking for something that would fit seamlessly into her design, but nothing seemed quite right. That's when I stumbled upon these ingenious edge things - specifically designed for Millarco shelf brackets, although they've also been known by other names. While I'm not sure if similar products exist elsewhere, this design might just spark some inspiration. These clever creations are tailored to work perfectly with 3.5mm screws. Take a look at the style of shelf bracket that inspired me: http://www.xl-byg.dk/produkter/bolig-fritid/hyldeknaegte/rack-system/millarco-pulverlakeret-track-system-rack-system-hvid-17cm.htm Update 20170115: I've added a new version with a 20mm high knob, while the original design boasts a 35mm height. Print Settings: Notes: I tested one lying down and one standing up just to compare the two. In the end, I preferred the lying version - it's likely stronger that way, took less time to print (23 minutes vs 65), and highlighted the z-wobble issue on my Prusa printer. After that, I printed four at a time using sequential printing with Simplify3D - what a game-changer!
