Shelf Clip Filament Guide
thingiverse
I designed this little G-clamp style filament guide to guide my filament down from a roll on a shelf above my printer, without it damaging the edge of my shelf or dragging the filament roll sideways. It fits over the edge of an up to 2cm thick shelf with a screw clamp. The fixed position hole at the top guides the filament off the roll straight forward to the edge of the shelf regardless of its position along the shelf, and the freely rotating 45° tube lets the printer pull the filament in from pretty much any angle. It needs a roughly 7cm length of PTFE tube (4mm OD, 2mm ID) to be inserted from top to bottom. I found it easiest to thread it through the individual parts in order before clicking them all together. I've added STL's of all parts individually and one STL of the 3 main parts and the short screw together, I also added a separate longer screw STL for anyone with especially thin shelves.
