Shelf Christmas (or any string light) Light Clip

Shelf Christmas (or any string light) Light Clip

thingiverse

I got fed up with office Christmas lights constantly falling and having to reattach them (I'm a big fan of Christmas, so I had to find a solution). To solve this problem, I designed a holder that can slide onto our shelves, which are approximately 19mm wide. The lights simply fit into the mouth of the holder. As you can see from the picture, it shows the correct orientation in which the holder should be placed on the shelf. Feel free to experiment with other orientations and let me know if they work. I've included an OpenSCAD file that should be self-explanatory, even for those who are not familiar with the software. If you're not comfortable with my design or prefer a different approach, I'd love to hear your suggestions. I'm still learning and would appreciate any feedback on how to improve it. To customize the OpenSCAD file, simply modify the following parameters in the top section: Main Body Width Top Clip Height Bottom Clip Height Wire Opening Diameter
