Shelf Bracket with Gear

Shelf Bracket with Gear

There are lots of cool shelf brackets already out there, I just wanted one like this. It took me way longer to make it than I thought it would! In Prusa Slicer, you can easily lay an object on the bed, and then cut it in the z-axis or height. To make this easier to print, I think I'll lay it on its side, and cut it at the height where the bracket overhangs the gear, on one side only. Then, keep both parts and print them at the same time. Then you could easily glue the overhang back on. That would allow you to print with zero support structure. Or, you can print it with supports however you want. I just hate supports. They never come off easily in most cases. If you don't mind the gear being off to the inside, you can cut the overhang off at 4.9mm, and discard the inner piece. That way the gear will sit flat on the print bed with the brackets. There are several ways to print this. Choose what you like!
