Shelf Bracket For Under Upper Kitchen Cabinet

Shelf Bracket For Under Upper Kitchen Cabinet

I mounted these brackets under my upper kitchen cabinet to create a charging station area. To do this, I cut a 1x12 inch board into a shelf that fits perfectly within the bracket's confines. The board was a tad too tight, so I used my table saw to shave off about 1/16 of an inch from its long side. This allowed it to fit snugly inside the bracket. The bracket features three screw holes on its bottom to secure the board in place and two screw holes on top to attach it firmly to the cabinet. Since my shelf is a standard 2 feet long, I likely wouldn't need more than two brackets for a project of this size, but if you're creating a longer shelf, you'll probably require additional support.
