Shelf bracket for Husky Steel Pegboard
prusaprinters

I installed the Husky 46" Steel pegboard designed for the rolling workbench onto my 46" wide rolling Husky desk (really solid, I love it), and I wanted to add an additional shelf on top that would be sturdy enough that I wouldn't need to worry about weight or reliability. I also wanted a gap between the shelf and the mount so I can run charging cables and LED strips, etc under the shelf without taking up any space on the pegboard or require drilling. So this shelf sits about an inch above the pegboard allowing for cables runs and lighting opportunities.

The shelf bracket is designed to slip right onto each end of the pegboard, there is a rivet on the back of the husky pegboard that perfectly slots into the bracket that holds it into place quite firmly (obviously tolerances might make it tighter or looser vs. printing and manufacturing).

The best part? It prints without supports. Huzzah. I'd maybe recommend adding some extra perimeters for strength if you're drilling your wood shelf into the holes for a bit more rigidity.

My printing specs:

infill: 60%

supports: none

layer height: .20
