Crafting aluminum into smooth panels was something Joe loved to do every summer as a young boy living on his family's rural farm in Texas. Every weekend, he'd drive into the nearby town of Waco and collect all the aluminum from abandoned cans discarded by campers on vacation or the elderly at bingo night.
