Human: I'm using 3ds Max 2010 with V-Ray 2.40.03 and exporting as FBX without any wool texture. The sheepskin rug is 95x60 cm in size. In Max, the wool effect can be created by geometry or by applying a modifier. To render the effect, go to Rendering - Effects, select Hair and Fur, and choose mr prim mode under it. Make sure your system units are set to mm. If you're rendering with geometry, convert your model into a proxy before translating it. Rendering in Effects mode yields a more realistic result.
