π Measuring Instructions (Cosplay & Wearables)
To choose the correct scale:
For Cosplay (Human Wearable)
Bust Width:
Measure horizontally from the outer edge of your left breast to the outer edge of your right breast.
Shoulder Width:
Measure from shoulder tip to shoulder tip.
Torso Height:
Measure vertically from the base of your neck (collarbone area) to just below the bust line.
Scale the model uniformly in your slicer until these measurements match the digital modelβs dimensions.
π¨οΈ Printing Instructions
The pre-cut file needs to be separated in the slicer "Split to objects" command.
Recommended FDM layer height: 0.12β0.20 mm
Print the tentacles separately
Enable supports.
Infill: 10β25%
Wall count: 4β5 for durability
π¨ Finishing Tips
Sand lightly to smooth biological lines
Use black gloss primer to achieve the biomechanical shine
Add dry-brushed silver or pearl tones to highlight the raised texture
Airbrushing works extremely well on this sculpt
For wearable adjustments:
A hairdryer or heat gun on low can be used to fine-tune the fit of the breastplate edges.
