Shea's Viola Bow Holder
thingiverse
Shea was born without fingers on her right hand, but she didn't let that stop her from pursuing her passion for playing the viola. In response to her determination, a custom bow holder was designed to help her hold her instrument. The ingenious device allows her to grasp her bow with ease and has been crafted so it can be used in conjunction with a cello, violin, or viola bow that closely resembles the one pictured above. When the bow is dismantled for attachment, only simple velcro straps and padding lining the inside of the holder are needed. For users who want to tailor their gauntlet's size, detailed Rhino files have been included for seamless scaling and boolean union integration. While a fixed wrist feature is currently in place, an adaptable wrist mechanism is under development, which will be unveiled here shortly.
