A lot of the modeling groundwork has already been laid out for numerous Marvel characters. You can easily find them at deviantart.com by searching "xelandis marvel" or "marvel xps". I'm counting on the Thingiverse community to collaborate and expand the Marvel Crisis Protocol collection of figures and accessories.
