We use an abundance of Sharpies, predominantly all the time. Black, silver, fine-point, and thicker versions are ubiquitous. We required a place to store them, so we rapidly created a Sharpie Station (initial version), which can hold three Sharpies but is spacious enough for other brands like Bics that have wider and taller pocket clips. It's also compact enough to display the color of the pen cap. This edition will accommodate markers with barrels up to 13.5mm in diameter, along with clips as wide as 7mm and as tall as 5mm (the Bic). It may be a bit snug; we'll publish a 14mm barrel version if the tolerances prove too restrictive. This one will hold our three most frequently used Sharpies (black, silver, and black) but might be slightly light at the bottom. Further marker holders are forthcoming; this one simply sits on a desk or tabletop, but we need some clip-on versions as well for securing to workbenches, assembly tables, and pallet racks using sticky tape or magnets.
