Sharpie jig for 3d printer
thingiverse
This jig functions perfectly with my butter slider, tech2c, and Prusa rework x carriages. The pen enters from the bottom and remains at the same Z position when changing colors. To switch to a new color, simply disable the steppers and move the x-axis to the left while making the change. If you plan to use negative Z values in your CAM software, you'll need to adjust the travel limits after homing to -0.1 on the minimum Z value. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo yet since my printer is currently operating in CNC mode. However, this jig has proven itself to be effective and is identical in inner diameter to another wooden jig I machined (with a 0.3mm offset for 3D printer tolerance). For a better understanding of its functionality, please check out the video showcasing it in action. Enjoy your post-printing experience!
