Sharpie Holder - Cap Replacement

<p>I am often holding something with one hand and need to mark something else, and since I only have one free hand, I use my teeth to remove the cap – but there has to be a better way. The main inspiration from this project is the <a href="https://www.trick-tools.com/markerlock-magnetic-marker-holder-14133">MarkerLock product</a>. I liked the idea of having markers readily accessible, but don't have many magnetic surfaces in my shop, so I designed something different.&nbsp;</p><p>It holds four Sharpie markers and has a screw hole in the middle to attach to any surface. I use a 2 ½" screw and leave it a little loose so the print still rotates to help select any color. I contemplated reusing the caps in my model, but I like the idea of keeping the caps on the markers for color identification. The cap is mounted to the back of the markers so the color is easy to see. It also allows you to take a marker and replace the cap if you're using it away from the holder. I used <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2902920">this Sharpie model</a> for the cutouts and it's a great fit for most markers. I found that my green markers are a little bit smaller, so I wrapped scotch tape around the end for a better fit.
