Remixed from the original design to fit my bltouch mount which is about 2.3mm thick. Fixed filament getting caught while trying to unload it with a wider pathway You may need to play around with how hard the sharpie presses on the filament, too little and you don't get the colors, too much it seemed to create some stringing as retraction is affected by the pressure of the sharpie tip on the the filament. I managed to stop the stringing by reducing my retraction speed by 15mm/s. v2 I cut off the top half of the ring holding the sharpie so that it wouldnt push it too tight against the filament Works BEST with TRANSPARENT FILAMENT. Print Settings Printer brand: Creality Printer: Ender 5 Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes, add support touching build plate only Resolution: 0.16 Infill: 40 Brim: 10mm Additional items needed 1 additional bowden coupling of the M10 size; 1 additional piece of bowden of more or less 62.5mm (If used with luke hatfield fix with 2mm spacer, bowden piece should be 29.3mm) -> ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS <- Print the Marker Filament Colorer: suggested use of a brim, i used 16mm print with support touching buildplate only suggested layer height of 0.16mm to obtain better quality thread. I went 0.12mm I quickly (2-3s or so) ran a 2mm drill bit through it to remove excess plastic. I also threaded through a piece of filament coated with teflon lube. extract the bowden from the hot end, leaving the coupling in place. insert a piece of bowden tube of 62.5mm in the hot end. remove the upper screw fixing the bltouch mount and hot end fan cover. screw a second bowden coupling on top of the Marker Filament Colorer. assemble the Marker Filament Colorer on the hot end (the coupling should fit inside the bottom part of it) and screw it back on. insert back the bowden tube in the new upper coupling. Thats all!
