Both sources for this remix had their strong points, but neither fit my need exactly, so I combined elements from the two. I modified the version from WhosOnTheThrone to fit the shaft on my vacuum perfectly, then increased the diameter of the holder side and added a slot on one side so it would "give" a little. The direction you mount your tools depends on which side they fit in. The version from rpwong had several dimensions that didn't match my model vacuum, but I loved the zip tie slot. That's a genius idea, so I incorporated it into this design. This really helps keep the holder secured to the shaft, and tightening down the zip ties only makes it better. I used a tool to get an extra click or two out of the zip tie for super tight clamping force. You'll want one of these around the house.
