My wife needed an adapter for her Shark vacuum to attach a 7/8-inch OD flexible hose for cleaning out the dryer, so I designed one and headed to the local hardware store where I purchased two feet of five-eighths-inch ID clear reinforced hose. She's thrilled, which means I'm off the hook, thank goodness!
