Isn't it frustrating when you can't locate those essential attachment tools that attach to your vacuum cleaner? You know you placed them in a box, put the box in a closet, but just can't recall where they are stored. I recently purchased a Shark Rocket vacuum and I genuinely appreciate it because it occupies an extremely minimal amount of space within my tiny workroom. However, there was no feasible method to retain the accessories with the vacuum so that they wouldn't get misplaced. So I designed a clip to secure them to the main tube/wand. I produced three of them in silver PLA material. Update: June 2017 - Clips continue working efficiently after two years have passed. I've learned that PLA may experience deformation if kept under tension, but my Shark clips encircle the indented area on each accessory tool, hence they are not subject to stress except during a brief moment when you fasten them in place. If using this for components which will endure constant strain, you should consider employing PETG or ABS instead. Update October 2018: I chose to introduce an enhancement – fabricating three clips into a single unit known as a "tree" that retains all elements collectively. It features a more elevated central clip that aims to provide greater security. The individual clips would sometimes slide around. The smaller diameter section of the clip connects with the main tube/wand, and the larger diameter area attaches itself onto the concave part on each tool. I produced this using Slic3r software, and chose a .6mm extrusion width accompanied by minimum perimeter settings at five and zero infill to initiate an effective fill process within the region where large and small C-shapes converge. This technique generates smoother prints with reduced stringing compared to other filling techniques.
