The latch snapped on our Shark Navigator DLX (NV70). I disassembled it and designed a replacement in Fusion 360 with precision and care. I then processed the model using Slic3r PE, adding supports all around and four or five perimeters for added durability and pliability in the latch. I printed the part on my Prusa MK3 with AmazonBasics PETG filament. Removing the support material from the spring well required some effort with a dental pick. Next time, I might approach this challenge differently. Perhaps cutting out a cylindrical shape first and then printing it separately with a different orientation could be more effective. Alternatively, investing in the MMU2 upgrade and using soluble supports would eliminate this problem altogether. However, considering my goal was to save money by avoiding a new vacuum purchase, this seemed like an unnecessary expense.
