I created this model based on the famous Italian switchblade. Simplified for easy printing and an original design that I hope you will like. All you need is a simple rubber band of about 2 cm diameter to complete the model. No extra screws or springs ! Deburr the parts well before assembly and look at the pictures for assembly, Run a file or screwdriver through the shark's gills to hold the mechanism in place by clipping the body2. Use good quality rubber bands for proper operation. Do not hesitate to send me a message if you have any concerns, for advice. I've printed 4 carefree templates. If the blade does not come out correctly, the elastic is not taut enough, you can adjust the tension by twisting the elastic or make it smaller. Insert the rubber band firmly into the bottom of the launchers using a thin object, small screwdriver, file, etc., taking care not to damage the rubber band. You can lightly sand the moving parts with water paper for a better glide, personally, I didn't need to. Although this model is a simple toy, be careful with children !!! WARNING, pull the trigger (aileron) forward or backward with a sharp jerk for proper operation.
