Let's print a shark fin for your dachshund ! You've probably wanted one for years. Now, with the magic of 3D printing, you can have one today. Just grab your printer, add some color and voilà! Easy as pie. Instructions The design team at www.smoothie-3d.com provided a stunning shark fin picture which we used to create the main fin STL file. We then blew up that STL file 1000 times in Slic3r and shaved off a few millimeters from the base to give it a flat surface before saving it again. Next, we tweaked the STL file in 123D Design to add holes for the straps and saved it as an STL once more. Then, we sent that modified STL to Slic3r with .2mm thickness and 10% fill and generated gcode, making sure our printed shark fin was nice and light when finished.
