Sharebot NG mk8 bowden-to-direct extruder mount plate
thingiverse
This is a mount for swapping the aluminum mk8 for the mk10 hotend on the sharebot NG. I designed it with the hot end on the left, but you can easily flip it during slicing if your extruder is opposite. It's crucial to have the metal plate, but this creates problems with the x endstop, so you'll need to add a spacer under the motor for it to hit (I used a heat sink). All screws are mostly original except for the two at the back which are 3x20 with washers and spacers. To prevent the ptfe tube from returning during retractions, I added an extra bracket. This isn't necessary if you have a direct version. Printer Settings: * Printer: Sharebot NG * Rafts: No * Supports: No * Resolution: 0.15 * Infill: 100% Notes: A support wasn't needed because I tried to make it simple, but apparently that's not enough. There may be a small defect, but it won't affect assembly. Print in the position shown in the photo, NOT the thingiverse preview position.
