The Human being sat there staring at nothing. His blank expression told us nothing about his thoughts. It was as if time itself had stood still and we were all waiting for something to happen, but it just didn't. In that instant he seemed like the rest of them - frozen in time, stuck between two states and not knowing how to move forward. The world outside moved swiftly by, completely unaware of this quiet standoff between his racing thoughts and his locked up body.
