I'm adapting a 80mm spindle for my Shapeoko 2 by crafting this holder. The power comes from a 1.5KW spindle motor I snagged on eBay.\nI made the holder with PLA plastic, achieving a fill rate of 25%. What's more, the spindle fits snugly in place without requiring any tightening screws.\nIf you want to use this holder, be prepared to buy longer screws - specifically, 25mm ones - to secure it firmly onto your Shapeoko plate. \nYou can find an image showcasing this adapter in action over at my Instagram feed (@p/spnVPXJ_nv/).
