Shapeoko XL Stand
thingiverse
This is a model for a Shapeoko XL stand made out of plywood and 2x4s. I created this design because existing designs for stands were scarce, so I decided to share my idea. The stand is designed to allow the Shapeoko CNC to sit on top while still having enough space to rest tools. It features two sliding drawers and two front cabinet doors, making it a convenient workspace. The stand sits on wheels and has two ports for electrical wiring. I have successfully fitted a standard computer tower in the base of the stand, and I planned this design to accommodate a top enclosure if needed. This would completely enclose the CNC, providing extra protection. To build this stand, you will need the following materials and items: - 3 sheets of 1/2 inch plywood - 6 2x4s - 2 pairs of 24inch drawer slides (available on Amazon) - 4 caster wheels (available on Amazon) - 4 door hinges (available on Amazon) - 2 door catches (available on Amazon) - 2 wire pass through grommets (available on Amazon) - 1 power strip (available on Amazon) If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to contact me. I'd be happy to hear from you. Thanks, Jason
