A Simple Upgrade for Sweepy Dust Collector: Adapting STL Files to Fit 2.5" Shop Hose. To accommodate the desired fit, tolerances are intentionally loose, allowing users to adjust the attachment according to their preference. A rubber band is used around the 35.5mm tapered end to secure it within the Sweepy, creating a tight seal despite some wiggle room. Alternatively, electrical tape or leaving it slightly lose can also work well, as the hose's connection to the router maintains its position. On the 2.5" side, a hose clamp provides a solid attachment, ensuring a secure fit. While I don't have long-term performance data, this mock-up has performed satisfactorily so far.
