shapeoko outside belt clamp
thingiverse
Shapeoko's CNC machine features a variety of belt clamp system files. There are three different options available. The first file is a basic variation designed by microwavesafe from the Shapeoko forum. The second file is an adaptation of the initial design, while the third file is for use with shorter belts than intended. The parts are 12mm thick and printed in ABS on a printRbot at 225°C. Some sanding may be necessary to smooth sharp edges where the belt rests. You'll need to redrill the clamp system to 4mm and find M4 screws, as well as tap the tension screw hole to M4 for a double Y motor setup. If you have a belt length over 62cm, print four "short belt 2" files; if under 62cm, print two "short belt 2" and two "short belt variation." Feedback on testing is appreciated, as only the first file has been tried so far, with the other two designs untested but potentially useful.
