Shapeoko Bitsetter V6

I sought a more refined version of the bitsetter tool designed specifically for the Shapeoko, something sturdy enough to withstand rigorous use. This design is tailored for a 3D printer, ensuring that when printed upside down, no supports are required. I opted to print this project with carbon fiber PLA for added durability. To assemble the device, you'll need a couple of short lengths of 1/8" brass rod as contact points, which should be soldered directly to the wires. A 12mm momentary switch is also necessary. In contrast, larger switches such as the 16mm and 19mm models have too much play, leading to inaccuracies in operation. To secure the retaining screws, there are two insert spaces for 6mm nuts. This design feature eliminates reliance on plastic retention, providing a more reliable hold. Simply drop the nut into the slot and use the screw to draw it onto the cavity.
