Shapeoko Belt Clamp
thingiverse
To improve your belt clamp's sturdiness, consider this alternative design. It's tailored specifically for a 1/4" MXL belt with teeth facing upwards. The STL file includes two parts, Upright and Top, which you assemble together to hold the belt securely in place. Adjustable hole sizes are available in the source code. For assembly, print enough copies (four for single-y-belt design or six for double-y-belt), insert M3 nuts with the part upside-down and flat, fasten the part to the extrusion end using M5 screws, sandwich the belt between the parts while adding M3x20 screws gently, tighten the M5 screws, and finally verify alignment and tighten M3 screws. Don't forget to test and share improvements!
