This securely fastens a vacuum hose atop the Z-axis of a Shapeoko 3, ensuring it doesn't put excessive pressure on or get pulled off the dustboot. The hose I use is 1.75 inches in diameter - yours may be larger. This approach helps prevent undue stress on the hose and minimizes the risk of it getting damaged during milling. The design allows for smooth movement between the Z-axis plates, eliminating the need for additional anchoring. A built-in bore through the plastic around the hose support enables easy securing with a zip tie if desired.
