Shapeoko 3 Spindle Adapter - 69mm to 53mm

This thing was designed using Tinkercad, where it can be edited online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/6hO2PujWrry. It serves as a spindle adapter for my Shapeoko3 machine, allowing me to utilize a Quiet Cut spindle within it. The SO3 features a 69mm opening on its spindle mount, whereas the quiet cut spindle measures approximately 52mm nominal. Initially, at 52mm, it was too tight of a fit, prompting me to redraw it at 53mm in size. A diameter of 52.5mm would likely be more ideal, as I need to clamp the SO3's spindle mount fully closed for this adapter to be secure. The Tinkercad link has been included so you can easily customize it according to your specific needs. Photos display my before and after spindle setup. The hose clamps used were initially intended as temporary solutions but remained in place for nearly a year, resulting in a setup that was almost correct but aesthetically unappealing. In contrast, the new adapter not only looks much better but also ensures smooth cuts with large cutters, free from stepping issues in either the X or Y direction.
