UPDATE (20180930): Adding a preliminary probe schematic is now possible due to added circuitry. This untested circuit may contain errors, so use it at your own risk. UPDATE (20180909): Official touch probe in hand, updated model reflects OEM part accurately. No PCB schematic available yet, but one will be created within the next few weeks. A custom probe will take time to arrive, so a new model has been created based on given dimensions. Note that the original probe is made of aluminum. This conductive path creation works by making the probe body and tool conductive. To close the circuit, use a conductive material for the probe. Custom probe offsets are not supported in Carbide Motion, instead they are hard coded to match the sold-out probe. The community-driven model uploaded here represents the Carbide 3D probe in each dimension and feature accurately. This active probe indicates (via LED) when the tool touches the probe surface. The model is available in various file types for modification purposes. If a specific file type is needed, just ask and it will be created or imported into any CAD program of choice.
