Shapeoko 2 "Z" Axis Limit Switch Holder.

I was inspired by this amazing creation http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:257089 because I desperately needed the Z axis mounts to match perfectly. I always aim for my kit assemblies to look spotless and clutter-free as possible. The upper Z axis mount probably needs some improvements so it can fit on the front center M3 screw hole instead of the side one like mine does. Also, the upper Z axis mount is extremely difficult to screw on because of its position. I wasted enough time fiddling with it for my liking and it works fine. The lower Z Axis mount uses 5mm X 15mm screws (I tapped both ends of my Z axis rail ). My screws are a bit too long. It was all I had available at the moment. *UPDATE*: http://youtu.be/6VvwGszE8Xo This video showcases that the stock version of Shapeoko 2 technically functions as advertised, but it's extremely unreliable and can be downright hazardous. I had to go through two of those 1/4" thick sheets to get the small bracket above to cut properly. Its unreliability wastes time and money on materials. That's what Inventables counts on - money from people having to buy materials. I have since discontinued using the machine until I obtain a TinyG stepper motor controller. The GRBLShield is poorly designed and allows way too much electrical noise to be generated, which has caused my Shapeoko 2 to plunge unexpectedly into the waste board and actually break my fine engraving bits. This has happened twice when I invoked the Homing Command. The hard limits option doesn't work because of all the electrical interference so there's no protection. If you have to have a Shapeoko, buy the mechanical kit, NEMA 23 motors and TinyG. The full kit has faulty electronics and small motors. Who needs a glorified "Spyrograph"?
