ShapeOko 2 Spindle Mount

The spindle mount, designed for ShapeOko 2's z-axis assembly, enables attachment of a 1.5kW air-cooled 65mm Chinese spindle. Due to the spindle's size, the mount is slightly larger to avoid collision with the z-axis stepper motor mount. Created using PLA plastic and 35% infill, it might later be replaced by a milled aluminum version. Mount attachment involves M5 30mm screws sunk into the PLA material; heating with a micro blow torch aids this process. A SketchUp file is provided for customization to individual setups. Inspiration for this mount comes from forgottenCNC's spindle holder, found on the ShapeOko forum.
