Shapeoko 2 Ryobi TR45 plus Home Depot mini shop vac mount
thingiverse
This adapter fits snugly as a direct replacement onto the Ryobi router's attachment point. It's designed to perfectly integrate with the Shapeoko 2 gantry, providing a seamless setup. If you own the original Shapeoko, this mount should also function without any issues. To explore this project in more detail, visit my blog here: https://crunchysann.com/BL/projects/ Follow these easy steps: When printing, you won't need any supports or rafts; simply set your printer to a maximum layer height of 0.3mm to minimize brittleness. Make sure to fill at least 60% of the part with infill for added stability. After printing, break off small adhesive discs for easier handling. Now, it's time to assemble your mount: tighten it onto the Shapeoko gantry using M4x60mm screws – preferably those from the Shapeoko itself. For the adapter to gantry connection, secure it firmly with an M4x30mm hex screw. Don't forget to test this part at high speeds on the XY axis; a reference can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:436295
