Shapeoko 2 Drag Chain Mounts Free 3D print model

I required some robust fasteners to securely connect my Inventables drag (cable) chains to my Shapeoko2. The cable chains were included with the Shapeoko 2 The Works package but did not come with an installation method for my machine. I needed to devise a solution, and thus I designed this array of cable chain mounts- I'm experimenting with various configurations to find one that perfectly suits my needs. Each distinct part revision offers unique attachment options for each cable chain end. I have made the Solidworks 2014 files available for any necessary modifications you might require. Update: On November 17, 2015, I added two new fastener types to this design. These new designs were created in Solidwords 2016InstructionsAttach the drag chain end to your printed mount using M4 x 12mm FHS and M4 nuts, and secure the mounts to your Shapeoko using M5 SHCS & nuts. For best results, I recommend printing these with ABS material at a 0.2mm layer thickness and a 50% fill density without any support structures, although the specifics may vary depending on your specific requirements.
