Shape Finders and Stencils
thingiverse
These shape finders and stencils (circle, hexagon, triangle, and rectangle) were inspired by public-math.org's idea to use Barilla pasta box 'windows' as shape finders. I thought it was a great idea for kids, allowing them to find donut hole shapes, rectangular bricks, and shapes they know well in all types of unique natural and architectural surroundings. Hold up the shape by its base and spy a truss or a maybe a snowflake! These shapes were created with Onshape and Tinkercad.
