The native file is in .skp, while the 3ds Max scene was built using 3ds Max 2016 and rendered with Vray 3.00. Located at the Shanghai Exhibition Center and Foreign Trade Joint Venture, the commercial building sits across from Nanjing West Road in Shanghai. Designed by American architect John Portman, it is commonly known as the Portman Building, a massive public facility. Its exterior walls are unpainted cement showcasing its luster. Measuring 164.8 meters in length and 111.5 meters tall, the main building features apartments with a total construction area of 185,000 square meters, resembling a "mountain" shape. Standing as Shanghai's tallest structure, it takes first place among the city's highest buildings. Characterized by John Portman's pursuit of space harmony, this edifice skillfully blends traditional Chinese and modern Western architectural elements. Its castle-like architecture commands awe with its towering height. Expansive courtyards are arranged on multiple levels, providing direct access to spacious exhibition halls via escalators or stairways. These exhibition areas cover an impressive 5500 square meters. At the center of the podium lies a versatile four-story hall that can be used as a theater for performances, offering breathtaking views and extremely comfortable seating for over a thousand guests. On top of its 48 buildings above ground level, this iconic structure houses eight main floors dedicated to hotels, seven stories hosting banking and telecommunications services, private clubs, Japanese restaurants and bars, and recreational facilities. Furthermore, the 32-floor residential component offers 500 sets of luxury rentals suites, including a spacious rooftop garden with a helicopter apron that can accommodate up to 300 vehicles in its basement parking garage.
