Shamrock Valentine Tealight Version: Flexible Sheet Technique. Print a thin flexible sheet that rolls into a cylinder, held in place by a groove in both base and lid. This technique allows for intricate details along the sides since printing without supports is possible. The sheet can be significantly thinner when printed flat than if printed upright. Both 3-leaf and 4-leaf designs are available. OpenSCAD files enable customization to suit individual preferences. Initial testing was done with PETG, but PLA compatibility is uncertain. However, printing the sheet thinly might make it workable in PLA as well. A suggested approach is to print the sheet first and then measure its actual thickness. In my case, the printed thickness was 0.85mm; I adjusted the groove value to 1.00mm, which worked fine. Some experimentation may be necessary to achieve optimal results. Print direction might need adjustment depending on your printer's specifications. Printing the sheet diagonally could yield better outcomes.
