I have a friend who's very proud of her Irish ancestry. I re-created the second latch and lock mechanism, also a significantly simpler design. I printed the original dimensions of the original box components and had to smooth out the box slightly to accommodate the first latch, but it fits perfectly over that latch! If you boost the print size of the original first latch then scale mine by an equivalent amount. The lock key slots together flawlessly without modifications and has shown increased strength when printing with .10mm layers. The lock STL doesn't depict the key part, but rotating it reveals its presence.
