MushroomChallenge Everyone, meet Shamby the Champignon, and he's thrilled because his momma just walked through the door. This is my entry for the #MushroomChallenge. I aimed to create a 100% one-of-a-kind UV layout – okay, it's more like 94%, but still unique in its own way. Since painting was the main focus, I quickly set up a model and unwrapped it. 4k texture maps were my go-to choice for this project. I heavily relied on 3DCoat's projection mode to get the job done efficiently, as Photoshop offers a wide range of custom effects that aren't available in 3Dcoat. I followed Miki Bencz's method – check out his excellent tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwCr8xKXMZM. Huge thanks go to Josh Rawling and his incredible piece, The Iron King! https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/the-iron-king-b24aca1c39df409995de550c013edd20. He's been a major source of inspiration for me lately.
