Shaft collar torque testing handle

Shaft collar torque testing handle

thingiverse

This handle is meant for attaching to our parametric shaft collars, so we can determine the torque these collars can withstand. To measure this torque, simply twist with your hands until one collar fails; then reprint it more accurately and repeat until a perfect collar evolves. We're very interested in seeing your results! Please share your final product with your customizer and print settings, as others are likely eager to know the outcome as well. A small amount of sanding on the tube inside the collar makes a significant difference. However, we don't yet know if it matters which direction you sand - along the axis or around the circumference. Thus far, we've only sanded in one direction. This file was created by IG @realjinhan. Marginally Clever has produced another excellent design.
