I love playing Shadows of Brimstone, but dealing with a multitude of tokens can be downright overwhelming. To simplify matters, I created an innovative series of token holders that have revolutionized my gaming experience. As you can see from the accompanying photos, these holders allow me to store and organize my tokens efficiently. The concept is simple yet genius: each holder has a top that can be removed, giving me easy access to the tokens during gameplay. To keep them contained, I use rubber bands, which are then stowed away in the case along with the entire assembly. When I'm ready to play again, I simply remove the top and rubber bands, and I'm good to go – a process that has significantly reduced my setup time. This particular token holder is designed specifically for tracking experience points or gold coins in Shadows of Brimstone. The photos demonstrate how I use it effectively. To ensure seamless gameplay, I made the size adjustable, allowing each token to have about 2 millimeters of clearance. This allows for effortless insertion and removal of tokens during gameplay while keeping them snug enough to prevent storage issues. I must give credit where credit is due – a huge shoutout goes to the creator of the original script on Thingiverse, which I modified in OpenScad to produce this custom token holder. His brilliant design was the foundation upon which I built my version, tailored specifically to meet the needs of Shadows of Brimstone enthusiasts like myself.
