Shadowhunter Rune - Angelic Power: fridge magnet remix
thingiverse
When I printed this, all I wanted was to display it on my fridge, but now I've learned how to add magnetic holes to existing STL files, so this is my first project that wasn't just modifying OpenSCAD code. The Amazon magnets I have are 10mm in diameter and 1.77mm thick, so the holes are 10mm x 2mm in size. Printed and tested! You may need to make some adjustments depending on how your printer is calibrated. Mine snapped into place perfectly and can be removed with another strong magnet, but (so far) stay put when used against metal. Glue might be needed down the road. I'm including the OpenSCAD file so people can change the size of the magnetic holes, but you'll still need to download the original Shadowhunter_Rune.stl from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3080092 and place it in the same location as the OpenSCAD file for it to be imported and modified by the code. Don't forget to download OpenSCAD! http://www.openscad.org
