I'm creating a basic wedge with two screw holes. It doesn't get any more straightforward than this. :) This design addresses an issue with our dark-out shade, which would sometimes strike features on our windows as it rolled down. The spacers enable the shade to drop smoothly without colliding with the window latch. I built this project using Tinkercad. You can edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/6d0SCdVexNX
